The publication of this small volume, coinciding with the 125th anniversary of the
founding of Wagner College, is the first attempt at publishing a history of the school —
actually, four histories.
The main contributions to this collection were written by four authors: Harald Kuehne, Walter Schoen, Brian Morris (ghost writing for the Rev. Frederic Sutter) and Lee Manchester. Manchester also served as the volume’s editor.

Dr. Horst Onken, professor of biology at Wagner, has created a guide to the birds most commonly seen on our beautiful campus. In this guide, readers will find one-page descriptions for each of the 105 most abundant birds that at least occasionally visit the college campus. Dr. Onken encourages users to get lost in the world of birds!
