Introduction and Latest Updates

 Update: THE LIBRARY IS CLOSED DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY. 

Online reference help and research assistance is currently available from 9am - 5pm, Mon - Fri. See the "Getting Help" section below, for contact information. 

All library books have been automatically renewed until Sept 15, 2020. No need to return any books to the library now.

Library services available during this time include virtual research help from our librarians - contact us to make an appointment for video chat or for in-depth online or phone-based research help.  Please see more information below.

Getting Help

There are several options for contacting the library for help:

  • Chat:  Available using the box on the left side of this page, via text at 347-765-1117, or from the library's home page at https://wagner.edu/library/

  • Phone: 718-390-3401 (to leave voicemail messages only).

Chat service will be staffed by librarians M-F from 9am-5pm.  We recommend using chat or email to contact a librarian for help. 

Virtual research consultations will be available via Google Meet.  No special software is required to use Google Meet on your computer.  If you wish to use your android or iphone, you should download the Hangouts Meet app to your cell phone.  Once you contact us via chat, if more extensive research help is required, the librarian will send the user a link to join them in a Google Meet session.

Online Library Databases

The vast majority of Horrmann Library collections and research tools are available online.  Visit the library home page at https://wagner.edu/library/ to connect with all of our online resources. You will need your All-Access Pass to access library databases from off campus. Follow these easy steps to login through OneSearch.
