Library Services during COVID-19: Fall 2020

Complete information about available library services and spaces in Fall 2020

How to use this guide

The library will look and work differently this semester due to COVID-19 and maintaining the safety of our students, staff and faculty.

The library is only open to CURRENT Wagner students and faculty. All others are not permitted inside the library.

Use the tabs on the left to look at the different services that we are offering during Fall 2020, and to learn how to use those services.

Library Spaces

Many library spaces will look different during the Fall semester:

  1. Only CURRENT Wagner students and faculty are permitted to enter the library. All others may not enter.
  2. ALL library spaces require masks and social distancing at all times.
  4. Group study rooms will not be available due to health restrictions and they are needed for other services this semester.
  5. The number of computer workstations, study tables and chairs will be reduced and distanced for safety.
  6. We will not be lending out headphones, chargers, or personal equipment.
  7. All library materials (books, DVDs, CDs, etc.) will be subject to a mandatory minimum 72-hour quarantine period upon return. This includes all reserve and interlibrary loan items.

Library Services

Library services are still available, as they have been ever since quarantine began!

  1. All reference/research help will be available online only (via Zoom)
  2. Books can be borrowed as before, with the option for Grab-and-Go requests for pickup in the library (see the Book Pick Up tab at left)
  3. All library instruction will be online (via Zoom)
  4. All tutoring services will be online (not in person)
